KiwisIoT supports a wide range of IoT devices including sensors (temperature, humidity, motion, pressure), smart home devices, industrial equipment, wearables, and more. We support multiple connectivity protocols including WiFi, Cellular, LoRaWAN, and Satellite. Check our Hardware Support page for a complete list of compatible devices and protocols.
To add a device, go to Device Management in your dashboard, click "Add Device", and follow the setup wizard. You'll need your device's unique identifier and authentication credentials. For most devices, you can scan a QR code or enter the device ID manually. Once added, configure the device settings and assign it to a dashboard.
Security is our top priority. We use enterprise-grade encryption (AES-256) for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. All devices authenticate using secure tokens, and we support two-factor authentication for accounts. Our infrastructure is SOC 2 compliant and regularly audited. Your data is stored in secure, geographically distributed data centers with 99.9% uptime SLA.
KiwisIoT provides a comprehensive REST API and WebSocket support for real-time data streaming. You can access device data, send commands, and manage dashboards programmatically. We offer SDKs for Python, JavaScript, Java, and C++. Check our API Reference documentation for detailed endpoints, authentication methods, and code examples. Webhooks are also available for event-driven integrations.
First, check the device status in Device Management. Verify that the device is online and has a stable connection. Check your device's power supply and network connectivity. Review the device logs for any error messages. Ensure your device credentials are correct and haven't expired. If the issue persists, try restarting the device or re-registering it. Contact our support team if you need further assistance.
